Who Did This ?

Hi,

Suno has detected the audio file I am attempting to upload matches an existing known recording. 

I created the original song. I own the copyright for it. 

It is possible someone has taken a copy from my soundcloud account and uploaded it to Suno without my knowledge or consent. It has never been available for download from Soundcloud. It also featured on a compilation a few years ago which is no longer available, the person who made that compilation has closed the website it featured on. 

I simply want to use Suno to remix my own music and improve upon it. 

You can follow the trail to identify it is mine by comparing the name of the accounts - it is snakeappletree, the same as for this email address snakeappletree@gmail.com

Please help with this! 

It's not so much that other people might be remixing my original music, thats inevitable with the music industry and also a compliment. The problem is, I can't do that with my own music because of someone else beating me to it.

Unfortunately, this can happen when someone else has previously uploaded audio that matches yours — which, as you've suspected, may have happened here.

Here's what I'd recommend:

To dispute the block on your upload, please send an email to support@suno.com with the following details:

• A direct link to your SoundCloud track as proof of original authorship (you've already provided this: https://soundcloud.com/snakeappletree-white-lightning-gate/for-biotronica-supernatural-energy-remix)
• The name/title of the audio file you're trying to upload
• Any other evidence of copyright ownership you have (e.g., original project files, timestamps, the compilation it appeared on)

Our team will be able to review your claim and verify whether the flagging was a false positive. Since your SoundCloud handle matches your Suno account (both "snakeappletree"), that's a strong supporting signal for your ownership claim.

A couple of things worth knowing:

• Due to the nature of Studio and audio uploads, our content detection system is conservative by design — but it is reviewable on a case-by-case basis.

The original song was made on Garageband on my old Mac mini which has long ago become a doorstop. 

If there even is a backup file on a usb memory card, it's somewhere in a box.
