Eggs

Idiots who expect one word answers to their rapid-fire questions are power gamers, are controllers.

Asking me a question requires valuing my answer.

Otherwise it is both of our time we are wasting.

A one word answer is insufficient.

The answer requires explanation.

They accuse me of being divergent.

In answer to your question:

I ask you to imagine three chefs.

One chef is an elite chef,

one chef is a normal, average person such as yourself on a good day,

one chef is a rubbish chef who messes everything up.

They are each making an omelette their own way.

The personality of each chef is the way they go about making the omelette,

what they bring to the table.

The average chefs personality is such

they add a sprinkle of black pepper and a sprinkle of salt to the egg,

which in todays modern society is a fairly standard baseline way of going about it.

The super-chef adds a pinch of their own secret special spice blend to the eggs,

containing cinnamon, nutmeg, paprika,

a variety of other mysterious aromatic and flavoursome wonders

in just exactly the right proportions.

The idiot chef adds nothing and burns the eggs.

That is a great story but what we have overlooked so far

is that each and every one of those people used primarily eggs to make the omelette.

So in answer to your question, my answer is one word.

Eggs.

That’s all you deserve for not being associative enough to understand

what it is I am talking about here.

If you want a different answer, go ask a different person.

If you want a different answer from me,

I suggest you re-evaluate who it is ‘I’ am in your preconditioning.

If what you want is the same answer from everybody who you ask the same question of,

I suggest you cut out the third parties and go talk at yourself about it.

Unfortunately most people won’t actually listen to this advice sufficiently to integrate it.

“What did you learn in school?”

“To pay attention. But I ask you; whose attention is it you paid?”

It’s too far outside the box for them to cope with lateral thinking.

"A definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result." Albert Einstein

"A definition of insanity is asking the same question and expecting a different answer." Einsteinian logic

The only reasons they ask is to be the one asking the questions (the controller)

and to judge you by your answer,

compared against what they already assume the standard therefore correct answer is going to be.

The detail of the questions is insignificant.

Artist Statement 2024

 Artists Statement 2024

Throwing away the paintings I did when I had low self esteem, feelings of worthlessness, depression, living in the city. Throwing them away is the final stage of release of that trauma. Letting go of that part of my life.

Along with it comes the throwing away of all the boxes of card-stock and cardboard stockpiled for painting and crafting projects. At the time it felt I did not have time to do everything I wanted to do. However, I did not know that in the pressure-stress of thinking I had run out of time already.

The huge problem was other people interrupting me. Other people getting in the way with unhelpful comments about how my creative process is a psychological disorder. It’s not a psychological disorder; they are. They are impacting me negatively and disrupting my productivity. When they supersede it damages my self-esteem and prevents me finishing my art. When I ignore them I win because I have confidence from being productive. My purpose of being alive is as an artist, not as a punchbag for negative peoples superiority disorders and power games. I would have been more productive had they simply left me alone to get on with it my way instead of criticising me for doing it my way.

Throwing away the art which did get finished, because it had attachments to a negative time of my life when I had less self belief, is cathartic. While it does mean a potential loss of income - the one picture stored here which I did show someone else won me a £2K bursary; to put estimated value on the other pictures, most of which nobody else has ever seen. They’re all taking up a room full of space in my house which is considered to be a mental disorder of hoarding by most people who are aware of the situation. People who don’t care enough to actually ask to see the paintings it must be added.

The process of making art is recognised as a form of therapy and as skills study, which is more valid to the artist than are the finished objects. I studied the Fine Arts at honours degree level. While the paintings do have commercial value and would boost the local economy if they were to be advertised and sold, too many people have been derogatory to me for me to have any incentive to empower those peoples nation and culture. As far as empowering myself is concerned, I need to segregate myself from any attachments from the previous art and craft materials so that other people will accept me instead of describing me as mentally unwell for hoarding. The art has multi-level attachments to my negative self-esteem. I am told the filling of my space with clutter is a psychiatric disorder by people who I do not show my paintings to because I do not trust them to see the paintings after they grind me down instead of accepting how lifestyle is fundamental to productivity and that an artists studio requires materials and resources stored there along with finished works, to create art with.

So it is no loss to me to throw my art out, or the resources required to make more of it. Other living local artists only want the unused paints for themselves and their kids instead of respecting my art and my need for making it. Nobody cares about the finished art anyway. I used to but I’ve got the hint from social pressure. It’s abnormal. This has liberated me to see all artists for what they are, and what I used to be myself. Art is a product of mental abnormality. All works of art are distractions and delusions no matter what the financial value placed on them by delusional people.

This decision is liberating for me. To detox from the person I was, someone who struggled to make art and struggled for it to be accepted. By destroying it all, I am more likely to be accepted as a person. I can understand that now. It’s why the mental health people describe my collected sheets of cardboard stored to paint on when I get time, as an attachment disorder to junk, rather than as the tools of a working artist. They have got through to me.

I would be better with an empty room and no desire to paint. No paintings stored and taking up space. The rare state worker who visits my house would feel comfortable there for all of ten minutes. Which is what this is all about after all. They are the authorities and are therefore the experts on how society should be, to improve it. The problems they cause me will go away.

By burning them all, I am liberated from all the toxic energies thrown at me by other people. All my charcoal drawings. All my acrylic paintings. They’re bad. They have been bad for me. They are bad for the community. The imagery will be default be bad for the community. They symbolise struggle, depression, repression, toxic rejection of corporate control. They do not symbolise hope, aspiration, success, acceptance, purity.

Twenty-five years worth of my creative output. It will require a few days of bonfires. I will release to the great spirit all which I have been to purify my way forwards.

I will be free, I will be happy. People will accept me and say I have healed. I no longer need to make art. I no longer need to waste any more of my energy and time living in a delusion.

The lesson I have learned is to recognise artists for what they are now. I know because I have evolved beyond that level of awareness into becoming something else. Artists are broken because they do not conform. I accept that to fit in, I must conform. We all should.

All we need to do is breathe

until we leave this body.

It is the greatest inspiration of all.

On Failing

Failing is a necessary step

in learning from experience

how to streamline what you are doing

to reach your objective.

Failing is not failing if you learn from it

and apply that knowledge.

People who identify with failing as a dead-end and give up

are failing themselves and their objective.

Only having failed and levelled up from it to continue stronger

can a person recognise the wisdom of this.

Never fear failure.

The confusion is because not failing is a straight line

between starting out and attaining the objective.

Blockages cause us to have to zig-zag around the blockage.

The confusion is whether to zig-zag or to zag-zig,

to go left or go right around the blockage

is still being on the path toward the objective.

To many people

this confusion of clarity as to which path to take

looks like a dead end, no path at all.

Ask always:

Is the objective the actual objective

or is there another objective I forgot about

which is why I made the temporarily blocked thing into the objective?

Brushwork

One thing I learned from wet ink brushwork

Make the initial mark

That’s all you have to do, otherwise it is overkill

The samurai philosophy of right action and integrity

Brushwork also emphasises this

When a person has inner tranquility it reflects in their brushwork

The philosophy of drawing a perfect circle

When Picasso went to art school,

in his interview he had no examples of his art.

They asked; "how can you show us you’re an artist worth joining our course?"

He drew a perfect circle before their very eyes and was instantly given a place.

Try to draw a perfect circle.

With swiftness and confidence.

On traditional ink paper,

every wobble representing lack of confidence and inner tranquility

is amplified by how the ink goes into the paper

It’s a factor in respecting the artist through the art form.

A literal translation of the zen stillness is captured on the paper through the ink.

It is sacred for these reasons.

So when we apply this understanding to the Western tradition of painting with a brush,

which is a lot more complicated than simplicity of oriental brushwork,

we can see the same applies here too,

in the artists techniques.

The huge thing in modern art is to persuade artists not to overwork their work.

Giacometti is a famous example with his technique for sculpting.

The only examples of his thin emaciated clay / bronze sculptures which survived

are the ones his brother stopped him from working on.

All the others collapsed.

His method was to pinch clay away from them to get them as thin as possible.

This sort of minimalism aesthetic is ancient and global.

It is very important as an artist to be aware of it.

Perhaps know this or some of this or a version of this already.

I am not insulting your intelligence about that.

I am attempting to teach what I know

and also to focus you

and also to simply discuss with you interesting stuff

about art culture and techniques.

Don’t overwork your work.

Experientialism

 EXPERIENTIALSM

Psychology / Philosophy

I first began to use the term Experimentalism in the late 1980s early 1990s to explain the same use of the term as this blog explains.

In the late 1990s I attended philosophy lectures at Cheltenham University with Alan Ford. I spoke with him about the phrase which he did not primarily recognise and directed me to the nearest equivalent. There was nothing published on the topic at that time.

In the decades since then the phrase has been used to describe and regurgitate either the same basic or a different, vague theory of psychology and philosophy which is not the same as the one I present here. The evidence sourced and cited for it is flimsy. There remains scant little which I have been able to find to expand upon it.

What I mean by Experientialism is as follows.

The philosophy of basing everything you know exclusively on what you have first-hand direct experience of to the exclusion of what you do not.

There are three forms of experientialism.

The primary form is the simple thesis. Projecting probability based on what the individual knows from experience, to ascertain whether there is any truth in what is not known from experience but can rely on as a working thesis.

Technically this includes the sum total of all human knowledge including polarised extremes of hard science to delusion.

Some proclaim Experientialism to be cynical while others understand it as obvious.

Certainly it posits the individual at the centre of the universe. This position is contrasted against any acknowledgement of collective consciousness as being superior to the individual. Thus, experimentalism is isolationism.

The second form of Existentialism is to deny any plausibility to anything outside of the individuals own unique experience of reality and method of interpreting reality. It is to say Reality is subjective exclusive to the individuals own dogma. This opens into Lacan. In medical-psychological terms this is currently described as disbelief syndrome.

The third form is when first-hand lived experience takes an individual outside of the commonly accepted normal reality, for illustrative example; experiences of the supernatural, which then become foundational in the individuals comprehension of macro cosmic reality even where it puts them at odds with the mainstream collective. The judgement call is that simply because you have never seen fairies yourself does not mean they do not exist and therefore it is possible others might see them. The argument of probability here is plausible and persuasive on the basis that simply because you have never been to Antarctica yourself does not mean it does exist. More people claim to have seen fairies than claim to have been to Antarctica so the numbers game is a win for supernature. Scientific validation has nothing to do with this simply because by its very character supernature takes us outside of the realms of clinically provable science.

What differentiates second and third forms is objectively differentiating between delusion and potential.

Experimentalism logically progresses toward Experimentalism.

PROJECT PROJECTION

It is bigger than me. I did not invent the thing. I put it together logically because it exists independently of me, in minds of those who associate. Immediately is a rejection of the individual ego simultaneous with the presence of ego of the so-called innovator. It appears inescapable. This self-awareness for the impact of our activities enmeshed with the denial of such a thing as having value is an apparent problem for the project, projection. Not much to do about that than focus entirely here forth on the project, projection itself. Allow it to grow from its own seed on its own merit. We pit mythology against copyright. Thats a joke. Accreditation is everything.

THE SATURATION

The Saturation of telepathically scrying the mythopoetic realms, seeing the overlays of many dimensions as the nuance of the individual perception interprets the visions uniquely. Within infinity all potentials are actuals. We associate by clustering them concordant to theme for ease of catalogue and access. Thus there is a Saturation of similar stories and events unfolding in overlays upon each other. Wherein Versions of the same characters and landscapes branch from the same core tree trunk. It is not only Time we map this way but the Multiverse. What happens typically is the mainstream of a potent Singularity sucks in all the closest proximity to it, differentiated by timeline events to create parallels rather than predominately indistinguishably identical parallels, which also exist in infinity. It is a matter of resolution of the lens by which we scry it.

In practise, although all fantasy writers universes are different, they are all versions of the same thing. The concept of Genre emerges to bag them up into the same bundle. To enjoy one genre author is a possibility to enjoy another author of the same genre, who did this unique insightful thing with the genre to make it memorable and worth reading it all.

Remember that in infinity all potentials exist as actuals? That means we do not ‘make stuff up’. Rather, the author is scrying the multiverse to identify and then to attempt to describe what they have seen there. We do not string it together by trying, we try to stay focussed on the one singularity rather than to lose focus and re-focus on another branch stemming from the same singularity or another rune in the bag of same-genre.

Middle Earth is Krynn is Gor is Hyperborea is all the same and yet this writers Conan is not that writers Conan. The original author was the first to scry and open the floodgate for that realm to blend into ours but is not the last to do so. As our technologies progress the mythic realm becomes a video, a computer game, a cloning technology, a teleportal, a cupboard-dimension accessible from our own through which living breathing characters are automatically generated as real as you or I are real, alternate physics according to their universe and all, until the render and the original authentic real place somewhere in the Infinity are indistinguishable and the same. We are somewhere on that emerging timeline of potentials that what we Image, image-nation, is being brought through by the organic scrying of the decalcified pineal glands of the creative minds, the pioneers into multiverses consciousness.

We call them artists and mistake their produce as their purpose. It is the other way around; their produce is mere chaff along the way of enhancing the human ability to open up portals to other dimensions within Infinity. It is latent in us all. Collectively we can use focussed psychic energy to dream into being any world we can hold in vision.

That's what it is all about.

RESPONSE & RESPONSIBILITY

The Observer affects the Observed. We have a profound responsibility for the impact our Attention has on the lives of the people revealed through the portal of these images. Their stories are that some of those characters become aware that they are being watched by The Watchers, who are us. It impacts them. It impacts them at a level of the Gods of Fate impact upon our lives. We are developing tools to achieve that level of ability. Are we, childlike in our reactive reactions, infantile emotions, lack of accountability for our activities, yet ready to make good to these people the result of our curiosity upon them? For what we do unto those is surely returned upon us by what others beyond our vision do to us.

VISIONARY SESSION

Selecting a handful of 'the most important' images is redundant and confusing given the context is The Saturation of Scrying. These are all the ones from one batch of AI generated images. They use root-photos in addition to textual prompts; so as derivatives they are legally copyrighted images. Especially so as I live in Britain where the law says AI images are automatically copyrighted to the human creator. This is different to US law where AI generated images are only copyright if they use a source image in addition to textual prompts.

The use of AI generated visual images to develop the project and to be inclusive of the reference frames forming the theme and thesis of this essay / blog is imperative to do it justice. While 'less is more' would perhaps be more effective, finalising which of the following images should be the major storytelling component for illustrating the emerging mythology is for the viewer to discern. Such is the purpose and method of this sort of storytelling. It could not be done so efficiently without the existence of AI generated art. Therefore the technology is a powerhouse in enabling a new sort of storytelling which functions at these levels of cognitive awareness. That is a win for AI technology being useful and valid in our emerging era. It's a win for storytellers too, which is of course the purpose of our being alive at all.
